INÙ GROOM services are via appointment only and can be done online or via email. When booking we will ask a number of questions to best determine how long and the correct pricing of your appointment.

Our prices are guide prices are based on the time taken to groom a well-behaved dog that is groomed regularly and with their coat in good condition. Full Groom prices start at £45.00 with Wash and Tidy starting at £35.00 - this will increase or decrease based on the above conditions.

Please supply a current mobile telephone number as we will contact you in regards to your dog, your appointment, or rescheduling. Please ensure you arrive on time for your appointment, arriving late may incur a late fee.

Please ensure that your dog has had a chance to exercise and is taken to the toilet before arriving for your appointment.

Payment is required on the collection of your dog, the £15.00 deposit amount will be taken off your final price.

Cancellations, lateness & no shows

Arriving more than 15 minutes after your appointment start time may result in your appointment being cancelled and a charge being taken. If you cannot keep your appointment please provide 24 hours’ notice, last-minute cancellations may result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the grooming price for future bookings, which would be payable before any further appointments could be booked.

We appreciate that sometimes you may need to rearrange your dog’s appointment as long as this is done with more than 48 hours' notice there will be no charge. Any failure to show or cancellation with less than 48 hours notice (except in extreme circumstances) will result in a non-refund on the £15.00 deposit fee & cancellation or no shows on the day can incur a fee of 50% of the groom cost charged to your deposit card. Cancellations prior to the following 48 hours notice time will allow the deposit to be applied to future rescheduled grooms.

A collection time will be agreed with you when you leave your dog with us. Please contact us if you are going to be late. Failure to collect your dog at the arranged time, or notify us that you will be late can incur extra charges at the rate of standard dog care (£15.00 per hour overtime).

Deposits

A £15.00 deposit is now taken upon all bookings, exceptions of Complimentary Puppy exposure. No shows or cancellations within the 48 hour notice period will incur no refund of the deposit. Rescheduling before this time will apply the deposit to a future booking. The deposit will be taken off your final pricing amount when paying on the day.

Aggression, poorly socialised dogs or matted coats

INÙ GROOM reserve the right to refuse to groom any dog that displays aggressive behaviour. If a dog exhibits behaviours that we believe may cause injury to itself or any other members of staff the session will be stopped immediately and the full fee incurred, you will be asked to collect your dog immediately.

We must be informed prior to the grooming of any previous history of biting or aggressive tendencies. Your attention is drawn to the dangerous dog’s act which holds owners liable for bites and injuries

If a dog’s coat is severely matted INÙ GROOM will only attempt to de-matt the coat for a maximum of 20 minutes in accordance with the Animal Welfare Act 2006. We reserve the right to perform a complete clip off of the dog’s coat if the matting is severe enough to cause the dog discomfort and/or exceeds the 20-minute de-matting allowance. Owners will be informed of this decision & given the opportunity to collect the dog. INÙ GROOM may inform the Dog Warden on welfare grounds if we believe the matting is causing extreme discomfort & health impairment.

Severely matted dogs will incur additional charges for de-matting and/or clipping off the coat. These charges will vary depending on the time is taken (usually a £15 additional charge). We reserve the right to refuse to groom any dog that we deem too severely matted to safely carry out a clip off of the coat. If you fail to disclose information about any allergies and/or skin conditions, we will not be held responsible for any irritation, patchiness, abrasions, or hair loss that may arise due to the grooming process.

Medical, Fleas & Ticks

If you fail to disclose information regarding any physical and/or medical conditions (such as elbow or hip dysplasia, epilepsy etc.) INÙ GROOM will not be held responsible for any injury incurred during the grooming process.

We will not subject any dog to unacceptable levels of stress or discomfort and aims to make the grooming process as comfortable as possible.

If during the grooming process your dog finds any part of the grooming process too stressful that part will not be completed. If we cannot complete the groom price reductions may be implemented. Any dog found to have a flea or tick infestation will be refused treatment and we will offer advice on removing them and advise immediate collection.

If your dog requires urgent medical attention while in our care, we reserve the right to seek veterinary attention, please state your preference of vet in the booking form, any fees incurred will be payable by the dog’s owner.

If you believe that a dog has been injured due to the grooming process you must seek veterinary advice within 24 hours. We will require a full written veterinary report stating the cause of injury being specific to the grooming process for us to accept any liability or negligence. INÙ GROOM carries the relevant public liability insurance.

Social Media

Your dog may be photographed and any photographs may be used on our website, social media sites and any other promotional material to provide an illustration of the work we carry out. We will happily tag an appropriate account - please do inform our staff.
